Welcome to Emmaus Sheffield
Emmaus Sheffield is South Yorkshire's first such community; a place where people who were formerly homeless will find somewhere safe and welcoming to live; a place where they can rediscover their dignity and self-pride through being part of a working community geared towards becoming self-sufficient through social enterprise.

Our Community

The plan is to eventually create a home for 24 people (known as Companions) who would otherwise be homeless.  Becoming a companion in an Emmaus Community is not an easy option.  On joining the Community, Companions sign off primary benefits and commit themselves to volunteering full time for the community.
